Mortgage Calculator

As a follow up to my previous post regarding “How much home can you afford,” I wanted to add an additional calculator to this post related to mortgage payments.  The below calculator will help you estimate your monthly mortgage payment, given certain inputs such as amount of loan, yearly insurance, yearly taxes, and PMI.  An eye-opening aspect of this calculator lies in the results graph.  Check out how much your total payments, and specifically total payments applied to interest, are at the end of the life of the mortgage.  Let me know what you think of the calculator, and look for more calculators to come on this site.
